I finally joined the rest of the professional blogger's world and got a Nikon D3100 a few days ago and immediately started goofing around with the new SLR camera. I practiced my Nikon camera skills by shooting pictures of my cosmetics, jewelery and random stuffs. I quickly realized that I could make some really nice pictures without putting an extra effort.
I had been looking for a camera that's pick true colors while taking pics of my eye makeup looks because I had been struggling with depression for a while and wasn't very satisfied with my Sony cybershot digital camera that was obviously a best and handy digital camera and helped me alot with my blogging, but the problem with the sony cyber shot was that it wasn't good with picking colors so bought this new camera to get better quality pics. I am very excited about my new camera now you will see some better quality posts very soon!

wow congratulations dear
ReplyDeleteColour accuracy can be quite difficult to achieve and is influenced by so many factors, but a good camera definitely helps! I love Sony for ordinary digital still cameras but Nikon for DSLRs :)
ReplyDeleteCongartulations on the new cam.... I still use my panasonic lumix just coz i find canon quite heavy to take pictures with... Talk about being lazy :p
ReplyDeleteHi everyone, I am new to photography and this forum. I recently got a Nikon D3100 as a gift and would love to better learn how to use it, so if any of you have any good recommendations for resources for this that would be great.
ReplyDeleteMy main question is though, do any of you know of a good strap that would be fine to use on this camera? I really don't like the strap that came with the camera that has bright yellow writing (Nikon) written all over it. I'd rather just have a plain black-looking strap, so it doesn't attract so much attention? Any help/input would be appreciated. Thanks!
